Very tough seax with sword style hilt. Designed to be used and made from 1065 high carbon steel with a darkened, battle-hardened finish, extra-wide tang and tempering to a low 50's RC. The pre-sharpened blade has gone through rigorous testing.

No Serious Flaws
Comes completely blunt, so requires a fair amount of sharpening. Hilt construction is rock solid, no rattling or shifting. Sadly the same isn't true for the scabbard, as the seax doesn't fit as snuggly as I would have liked. Still the blade would be perfectly functional once sharpened and the few flaws it has are very minor. Overall would definitely recommend.
