This very nice brooch is cast from bronze and plated in silver. The original this is modeled after was found at Birka. Back of brooch has sturdy pin. Approximately 2.25" tall by 1" wide.

Nice broach
Smaller then expected, however still very nice broach.

Birka Viking Brooch
I have used this along with some other brooches and the Wayland the Smith sculpture as decorations on a set of leather Viking armor. It looks great on there.
