Type A Viking Axe. The type A was a very early Viking Age axe type, the beginnings of later types can be seen in this axe. Hand forged axe head is made by wrapping softer steel around a hardened bit, 3" sharpened edge. 19" hickory handle. Great for throwing or camp chores. Weighs about 1lb 7oz. Made in the USA.
