Hedemark Norse Sword, late 9th Century. Blade is made from EN45 high carbon steel and is 30.5" long. Tip and edge are blunted for stage combat or reenactment. Pommel and guard are made of steel. A felt tab is fitted on atop the guard to protect the guard from contact with scabbard, it can be removed if desired. Wood grip is wrapped in leather and about 4.5" long. Wood-core scabbard is covered in stitched leather with wood suspension loop. Sword weighs about 3lbs 8oz. Overall length is 37.75". Made by Deepeeka.
