A well decorated shield for a Viking warrior. Solidly constructed from wood approximately 1/2" thick. The front is hand-painted with a serpent knotwork design and back of shield is stained brown. Rim and boss are steel. 24" diameter and about 7lbs. Front of the shield has the appearance of planks making this a really great looking shield.
