Great replica of a short Viking axe, perfect for single hand use with a shield. High carbon steel head has a hardened 5 1/2" sharp cutting edge. Hardwood handle is 24 3/4". Comes with nice leather sheath. Weighs about 2 pounds. This would have been a common weapon during the Viking Age.

A nice quality, item!
This axe is, pretty nice, for the, price! The axe, is fairly sturdy, pretty sharp & functional! But i wouldnt, try chopping, down any, trees, with it! And it wasnt, made for, throwing either! But its, well worth, the price, for a, nice, display piece! It was a, good buy, though!

Great Axe!
What I love most about this axe is its simplicity and basic nature. Period pieces should represent the time and culture in their basic form. This piece does that. A solid handle, rustic appearing blade, sharp, and looks great on display.

Excellent!!!
Great heft and feel. Solidly built and all business. For my tastes, it's the perfect size and weight to make a super-versatile addition to my collection. Thanks, folks. I'll be back for more stuff soon!
