Rawhide strip for shield rims. 2" wide by 36" long. Made from 4-5oz rawhide. Soaking rawhide in water makes it become pliable and dries very rigidly in whatever shape it's given. Great choice for a shield rim.

2" rawhide shield edging
This is a wonderful way to Finnish off your viking shield.As per the instructions, soak In water then mold and clamp to shield. I used short carpet tacks to further secure, the rawhide will shrink and mold itself to the shape. Be sure to measure your shield rim so you order enough to make it all they way around.
