Cast from sterling silver (.925) and approximately 2.25" tall. The runes have been engraved and are believed to be Younger Futhark Runes. The runes read: May you be healthy and in good spirits (or good mind). The original was found in Bergen, Norway carved into a Rune stick.

Not as pictured
The rune stick pendant was very cheaply made & you could not make out the tunes very well at all, the picture had them darkened a bit. This is not sterling silver as you might believe from the description. Very disappointed & already returned.
Viking Shield - These are cast from sterling .925 silver. Given this the runes can be difficult to see from some angles. -
