This seax features a handle made of rosewood and stag horn with a brass guard. The 8.5" stainless steel blade is sharp and has a full tang. Comes with brown leather belt sheath. Overall length is 13.5".

So I got this as one of several gifts for my fiancées birthday and then I stole it and claimed it as mine. It’s really cool looking and a good weight, handle is comfortable to hold. There’s just something about it that makes it “just right.” It would have been even better looking if it didn’t have the brand name right on the blade, but I’m still obsessed with it and agree that it’s a steal.

Good value for your money. Looks great, nice sheath. Doesnt keep a sharp edge as well as some other knives, but if your buying this for reenactment I doubt you will use it that much.

Very nice
This is the 4th seax I have purchased from various sites and I must say the quality does not match the price, I have paid far more for a seax just to find out it was far from being anything other then a costume or decoration peice. This item is high quality, came sharpened, has a decent sheath, and looks amazing so far I have used it as a general utility knife and it has held up to everything Ive put it through thus far, I would highly and happily recommend this seax.

I'm very happy with this purchase! For such an inexpensive seax. The quality is better than I expected, the balance is right on and the sheath is sturdy and well made.
