Modeled after the original boss found at Telemark, Norway and dated to the 10th century. Hot forged from 2.5mm(12 gauge) thick steel and tempered in oil. These really look like they were made in medieval times. Blackened finish with oil. Weighs about 1.75lbs. 6 holes about 3/16". Comes with 6 rivets, 1.25" long.
