One of the most powerful of the Norse gods is Thor, god of thunder. He is the protector of gods and the common man. This is a replica of a bronze statue that was found on the Eyrarland Farm in Iceland and dated about the year 1000. An incredible piece of Viking history as there have been few such items found. The hammer being held by the statue is most likely Mjollnir, almost guaranteeing it is Thor. Replica is 7" tall and made from Gypsum stone. Weighs about 1lb.
