The Valkyries are warrior maidens that select those slain in battle for Valhalla. This statue is modeled after a 6th Century silver-gilt pendant that was found in Sweden. 7" tall and made from gypsumstone.

Exactly what I was hoping for!
This statue is a beautiful 3D interpretation of a 2D piece of art. It's sturdy and well imagined, and it arrived quickly.
